Riverside Food Tours is excited to announce that in January one of their “inside scoops” was our Cincinnati Streetcar Food Tour! The following is a quote from Cincinnati Refined’s article… The Best Way To Taste The Queen City Is On A Streetcar Food Tour

“[They] will shuttle you around town on the Cincinnati Bell Connector (the streetcar), and you’ll hit up to five restaurants & two museums along the way. The whole thing is designed to be squeezed into a 1 PM to 4 PM timeslot, so urban office dwellers can bunk off for the day at noon and gorge themselves on food and history lessons simultaneously. Sounds pretty nifty, eh?” – Phil Armstrong, Cincinnati Refined

More About Riverside’s Cincinnati Streetcar Food Tour

At our first tasting, we may enjoy an authentic St. Louis deep dish pizza from Pi Pizzeria, or the World’s Best Reuben from Izzy’s, the best deli in Cincinnati since 1901. Our next tasting and cocktail is at Nicholson’s Gastropub, an authentic Scottish Pub, where we’ll enjoy their delicious Shepherd’s Pie or fish and chips served with a sample of Belhaven Ale in their cozy hearth room. We’ll board the streetcar once more to Arnold’s a quaint and quirky bar/restaurant operating continuously since 1861. We’ll enjoy a fried green tomato with pepper jack cheese and topped with homemade Pico de Gallo Green Tabasco Crème. We’ll board the streetcar once more riding north to OTR and disembark for our fourth tasting at Lachey’s, named after Cincinnati celebrities Nick & Drew Lachey. We will enjoy their French Toast with Braxton ‘Storm Ale” syrup & fresh berries. An alternate tasting may include a stop across the street at 3 Sweet Girl’s Cakery, the official bakery of the Flying Pig Marathon where you may have your pick of one of their yummy enticing cake pops! Whew! At this point you may choose to continue on your own, exploring the downtown neighborhoods along the streetcar route or hop back with us as we return to our original starting point.
