Indulge in three festive cocktails crafted by Dan Bavis, owner of the Orbit Room, a cozy cocktail lounge in Over-the-Rhine. Dan will share his techniques for creating the perfect cocktails to pair with chocolate.
Meet Melinda Mueller, owner of Ruby’s Chocolates, who has been handcrafting chocolate long before her official launch in 2008. Ruby’s Chocolates are available at Jungle Jim’s, Dorothy Lane Market, her retail stores in Hamilton, Oakley, and now Findlay Market!
Melinda will demonstrate how to create three exquisite treats perfect for gifting. The best part? You don’t have to wait until Christmas to enjoy these delights—everyone can savor the chocolates and cocktails on the spot!
Drinking cocktails and eating chocolates are even more fun with friends. Gather your gang and make a night of it. After the class concludes, sit and relax the Orbit Room, or make reservations for a light dinner to round out the drinks and dessert! Another option is to hop on the streetcar to 12th and Vine for some Christmas shopping—many boutiques are open until 9 pm. There’s so much to see and do in downtown Cincinnati, and the free streetcar will take you everywhere!

- Meeting/Ending Point: Meet at The Orbit Room, 1833 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. The Orbit Room is located across the street from Schwartz Point Jazz Club. It is a one block walk east on Findlay Street from the market.
- Parking option 1: Use the Findlay Market Parking Lot $3/hour. Address: 127 Findlay Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
- Parking option 2: Street parking is available with the CincyEZPark.com app.
- Parking option 3: Park at the surface lot at the corner of Elm and Liberty. Take the free streetcar located next to the lot (stop 9) and exit at Findlay & Race (stop 12). Walk one block east up Findlay Street to Vine Street. Turn right into the Orbit Room.
- Non -Alcoholic: Mocktails may be selected instead of cocktails.
