If you are a hearty eater, a light breakfast is fine. We begin the tour at the first food stop, so we begin eating right away!
Our guides greatly appreciate tips. Most guests tip their tour guides between 10-20%. Your ticket includes a 20% gratuity for the Staff of our restaurant partners, but NOT for your tour guide. Another way to demonstrate your appreciation for a fantastic tour guide is by leaving a 5-star review that mentions them by name, which earns them a paid bonus.
We welcome families with children on all our tours! Since it depends on the child’s age and attention span, we leave it to the parents to decide whether a 2.5-3-hour walking tour is appropriate for their child. In our experience, children 10 and older, interested in history will enjoy the tour. Children five years and younger are free, but do not receive any food. Parents may share or bring snacks. Children ages six and older require a ticket.
Wear casual, weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring an umbrella if needed, a water bottle for hydration in warm weather, and cash for gratuities or small purchases.
We walk less than one mile over the course of 3 hours. This tour is easy due to the level surfaces, tree-lined streets, and park benches. There may be a step up to the entrance, at a few of the restaurants.
Plans change - we get it. Refundable Ticket: This ticket can be refunded up to 24 hours before the tour, minus the booking fee. To request a refund or to reschedule, please call or text 513-289-0035. After the 24-hour window, refunds are no longer available. Standard Ticket: This ticket does not include refunds or exchanges.
Yes, you may substitute a soft drink for the craft beer. Ice water is provided at all sit-down dining locations.
Our tours run rain or shine, in hot or cold weather. Since about 70% of the tour takes place indoors, we limit outdoor time as much as possible during inclement weather. Please dress for the conditions. In the case of severe or life-threatening weather, we will contact you by text or email if a tour must be canceled or rescheduled.
The booking fee is set by our ticketing provider and applies to all bookings. It helps support the secure system we use to deliver a smooth, reliable booking experience for our guests.

Street parking is free in the village. There is a pay parking lot behind Cedar Restaurant. The parking lot address is 417 W. 7th Street, Covington KY 41011.
