Frequently asked questions

The market is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday.
Yes, there are streetcar platforms on Elm and Race Street.
We can provide gluten-free dishes at the majority of our stops. However, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. Guests with Celiac Disease will be asked to sign a waiver acknowledging that they are participating in the food tour at their own risk.
Our guides greatly appreciate tips. Most guests tip their tour guides between 10-20%. Your tour price does include a 20% gratuity for the staff of our restaurant partners, but NOT for your tour guide. Another way to demonstrate your appreciation for a fantastic tour guide is by leaving a 5-star review that mentions them by name, which earns them a paid bonus.
Wear casual weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. You may bring a water bottle for hydration, cash, and a tote bag for small purchases.
We welcome families with children on all our tours! Since it depends on the child’s age and attention span, we leave it to the parents to decide whether a 2-hour walking tour is appropriate for their child. In our experience, children 10 and older who are interested in history will enjoy the tour. Children under 5 are free but do not receive any food. Parents may share or bring snacks. Children ages six and older require a ticket.
There are steps up to the entrance at a few locations. The market is wheelchair accessible, but it can be busy and congested on the weekends. The walking distance is less than a half mile. We stand more than sit on this tour.
Plans change - we get it. Refundable Ticket: This ticket can be refunded up to 24 hours before the tour. To request a refund or to reschedule, please call or text 513-289-0035. After the 24-hour window, refunds are no longer available. Standard Ticket: This ticket does not include refunds or exchanges.
Our tours run rain or shine, in hot or cold weather. Since about 70% of the tour takes place indoors, we limit outdoor time as much as possible during inclement weather. Please dress for the conditions. In the case of severe or life-threatening weather, we will contact you by text or email if a tour must be canceled or rescheduled.

Things to know

Parking

Avoid parking on the street. The Market has 3 surface parking lots surrounding the perimeter. The closest parking lot to Moxy is the two lots on the south side of the Market building. One entrance is located off Elm Street and the other off Race Street. Pay with a credit card at the pay station before the tour begins. Rates: $3/hour. We recommend you choose 3 hours in case the tour goes over or you wish to shop afterwards. The Findlay Parking Garage is located at 1810 Logan St, Cincinnati, OH. 45202. Rates may vary.

Dietary Restrictions and Alcoholic Beverages

Vegetarian dishes are available upon booking. We do our best to accommodate dietary needs, but we cannot guarantee it at every stop. Please call or text 513-289-0035 in advance to discuss your options. Beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) may be purchased at the various locations. Ice water is served at all sit-down restaurants.
